Township in Mackinac County, Michigan (on the shoreline of Lake Huron)

The township is located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and includes several islands, some of which are inhabited and others that are not. The ordinance has language that discourages development in areas that are located within the Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM), however, it does not completely prohibit activity.
Regulation meets the following Key Measures:

Limits development/redevelopment along the shoreline.
Requires that any building constructed on a lot abutting a lake, pond, stream, or river to be set back at least 100 feet from the high-water line (with some exceptions).
