Onekama Village

The Village of Onekama is assessing their community's resiliency through Coastal Zone Management. The Village is located on the shoreline of Portage Lake which is directly connected to Lake Michigan's shoreline dynamics. In addition to the Community Assessment Tool, the Village is also potentially updating their Future Land Use Map in regards to the Portage Lake Zoning District. LIAA will present a draft of the Community Assessment Tool to the Village of Onekama planning commission for public input at the Farr Center on Tuesday, November 8th at 6pm.  The public is welcome to provide input during the meeting as well as electronically through this project page.
